In reply to Deborah Dills. Most people inJerusalem are buried in the "Har Hamenuchot "cemetery in the 1990"s onwards.Try enquiring at the varios Chevra Kedishas that have areas there, the largest being "General Chevra Kadisha"

Hello, the reason is that when the day of resurrection comes they’ll wake up facing Jerusalem and the temple mount.

Recently found out I had been adopted (57 years old) born to Jenny Helene Levy who was born in Strasbourg, France on May 23, 1921. She put me up for adoption in 1957, and I was adopted by Rabbi A. Sheingold and his wife Norma from NY.

My birth mother, Jenny Levy came into the US as a Naturalized citizen on February 1958 only 3 months after the adoption was finalized. She eventually left the USA and went to live in Jerusalem in 1988.
I would like to find out where my birth mother is buried. If anyone can help me please write back to me
